Privacy policy

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of doubt, the German version is legally binding.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

tretorg GmbH Holztechnologische Entwicklungsgesellschaft
Schwarzenhofer Str. 12
17192 Kargow OT Federow, Germany
Represented by the managing directors Roman Kujus-Tenekedshijew and Matthias Albrecht
Email: info@tretorg.de

2. General information

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website, provide our content and handle your enquiries. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable person, for example a name, email address or IP address.

This website does not use any analytics, tracking or marketing services. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.

3. Legal bases

Depending on the purpose, we base the processing on the following legal bases of the GDPR:

  • Art. 6(1)(a) – your consent
  • Art. 6(1)(b) – performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, for example handling a project enquiry
  • Art. 6(1)(c) – compliance with a legal obligation, for example retention duties under commercial and tax law
  • Art. 6(1)(f) – our legitimate interests, for example the secure and stable operation of the website

4. What data we process and why

4.1 Hosting

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. The host processes the data generated when you visit the website on our behalf. We have concluded a data processing agreement with STRATO pursuant to Art. 28(3) GDPR. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4.2 Server log files

Each time the website is accessed, the server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser: the page or file requested, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and IP address.

We need this data to deliver the website and ensure its security, for example to fend off attacks. It is not combined with other data sources. The log files are deleted after 7 days at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4.3 Cookies

This website only uses technically necessary cookies required to operate the site, for example to store your language setting. They are usually deleted when you close your browser. The legal basis is Section 25(2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. You can restrict or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; some functions of the site may then not be available.

4.4 Contact by email

If you email us, we process the information you provide – usually your name, email address and the content of your message – to answer your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. If your enquiry concerns a project or an order, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; otherwise it is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4.5 Data for the performance of contracts

If a contract is concluded, we process the data required for it, such as name, address and email address, to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). This data is deleted once the statutory retention periods have expired (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4.6 Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our server. No connection to servers of Google or other third parties is established when the site is accessed.

4.7 Videos

Videos on this website are stored on our own web space. Video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo are not embedded.

4.8 Link to LinkedIn

Our website contains a simple link to our company profile on LinkedIn. This is not an embedded plugin: data is only transferred to LinkedIn when you click the link and open the LinkedIn page. LinkedIn's privacy policy applies there.

5. Retention and deletion

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Once the purpose no longer applies, we delete the data unless statutory retention obligations, for example under commercial or tax law, require otherwise. In that case, processing is restricted until the retention period has expired.

6. Your rights

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

  • Access to the stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
  • Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR, see section 7)

To exercise your rights, an email to info@tretorg.de is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is: Der Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Lennéstraße 1, 19053 Schwerin, Germany, www.datenschutz-mv.de. You may also contact the supervisory authority where you live.

7. Right to object

Where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

8. Data security

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar. We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. Please note that communication by unencrypted email may have security gaps.

9. Disclosure of data

We only disclose personal data if this is necessary for the purposes stated, you have given your consent, or we are legally obliged to do so. Service providers acting on our behalf, such as our host, only receive the data they need for their task and are contractually bound to data protection.

Personal data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when the website or legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
